Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL)

CAPAL offers $2,000 scholarships to enable outstanding college students with the potential for leadership to work full-time and learn about ways to effect public policy in order to better benefit and serve Asian Pacific American communities. Thus far, CAPAL has awarded scholarships over the past fourteen years, funded by civic-minded donors, both private and public.

DM Discoveries High School Year Program

DM Discoveries is proud of the opportunity that we offer to young people from around the world, as well as to families, schools and communties throughout the United States. Through a government sponsored J-1 visa cultural exchange programs, DM Discoveries offers students age 15-18 the opportunity to live with a volunteer host family while attending a local public high school.

Freeman Foundation Asian Exhibit Initiative

The Freeman Foundation Asian Exhibit Initiative, administered by the Association of Children's Museums, was created to give children and families the opportunity to Go East and experience the cultures of Asia. The initiative brings together seven exhibits at children's museums around the country. Each exhibit concentrates on a different aspect of Asian Culture, from Korean music to Chinese folktales.
